Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: (Psalm 103:2)
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (Galatians 6:8)

Reaping to eternal life

As Christians, we often struggle with doing good and feeling guilty when we fail. This is because our spirit and flesh are in constant competition. Our soul receives information from the world and from God, and our behavior is affected by what we choose to believe. We can choose to obey God and live a spiritual life, even though we live in a body that is exposed to sin. We should command our soul to be governed by the word of God and live in the Spirit. Christ has freed us from our mortal body, and we should live by faith in Him. Read more...

Comments:

Anny: I thank my God for all the benefits received, I thank him for giving me salvation, provision, family, work, friends, I thank him for my children, for my husband, so much, so much for thanking God. With God I have everything and I lack nothing. God bless you brothers.
Anny, your gratitude to God is beautiful and sincere. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, in Psalms 103:2 we read: "Bless the LORD, my soul, and do not forget any of His benefits." It is important to recognize and be grateful for everything God gives us, from salvation to daily blessings like family, work, and friends. May your heart continue to overflow with gratitude and trust in God. May God bless you abundantly!
Francisco Diaz S,: In the world we are exposed to sin.- There are condoned sins, which are those faults that we commit knowing that we are doing wrong and in which our conscience accuses us.- And there are ignored sins, which are those in which we believe that we are doing well and We are really doing wrong and they are very common. Let us pray to the Lord to perfect our lives
Francisco, your reflection is very accurate. In Faustino's devotional by Jesús Zamora Vargas, this struggle between the Spirit and the flesh is precisely addressed, where sometimes we commit sins even without being fully aware of them. As mentioned in Galatians 6:8, "For he who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but he who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit." It is essential that we seek guidance and perfection in our lives through God's grace and forgiveness. Let us pray together that the Lord will help us discern between good and evil, and guide us along the path of righteousness. May God strengthen you in your spiritual walk!
Enrique Meneses Muñoz : May the Holy Spirit always prevail over my desires and decisions. Hallelujah, amen.
Sabino Marroquín López: My happiness and joy is to be in the path of God, and to help families in need so that their little children do not suffer from hunger.
Sabino, your dedication to helping families in need is a beautiful reflection of God's love in action. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, by living in the Spirit we can command our soul to be governed by the word of God. In Galatians 6:8 we are reminded, "For he who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but he who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit." May the Holy Spirit always prevail in you and may your work of love and helping others be blessed by God. May the Lord continue to use you as an instrument of his mercy and provision!
Ruth Vives : It is important to ask God through his son Jesus for direction to act according to his will and the Holy Spirit.
Ruth, your desire to seek God's direction through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is admirable and wise. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, upon receiving the Holy Spirit, a consciousness of God that did not exist before is generated in our being. In Galatians 6:8 we are reminded that as we sow to the Spirit, we will reap eternal life. May your heart continue to seek the will of God and may His Spirit guide you in every step you take. May God strengthen you in your walk of faith and obedience!
