Being a pastor or ministry leader requires a lot of time, passion, and investment in people. It is a long-term project that involves continuous contact with key leaders and imparting the vision to them. Jesus used this method of living, walking, and ministering with his disciples to deeply mark them with his vision. Pastoral work requires a high personal price and ongoing involvement from the senior leader. The leader must be clear about the vision and persist in aligning all aspects of ministry with it. Jehoshaphat understood this and invested a lot of time and energy in continually implementing the vision for a godly nation.
