Dead to sin, alive to God in Christ

Sin is real and leads to death and separation from God. The belief that man is essentially good and does not need to repent is contrary to the Bible. Everyone is born a sinner, but God has provided a way for forgiveness and salvation through faith in Christ. Christians must continue to fight against the desires of the flesh and choose to walk in the Spirit. Confession and repentance bring restoration and forgiveness from God. Psalm 51 is an instruction manual for believers who have been overcome by sin. Through God's mercy and the blood of Christ, we can be reconciled with the Father and feel the joy of salvation.
