And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. (Zechariah 14:9)

As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, the earth will be filled with the glory of the Lord, and in that day He will be recognized as one. In Zechariah 14:9 we read: "The LORD will be King over all the earth. In that day the LORD will be one, and His name will be one." This promise fills us with hope and encourages us to trust that God will fulfill His purpose to reign over the entire earth. May our faith be strengthened as we remember that the kingdom of the world will be our Lord and His Christ, as mentioned in Revelation 11:15. Hallelujah for the eternal reign of our Lord!
