A spiritual Gilgal

The church is like Gilgal, a place of the supernatural where God works miracles. The New Testament tells the story of the Church, which is the body of believers in Christ. The Church is not perfect, but God still loves and believes in it. We need to focus on Christ as Lord of the Church and not on our own ego. Despite its imperfections, the Church points to eternity where believers will have a home. Read more...

Comments:

Carlos A. Borja Flores: Many of us may be looking at the imperfections of the Churches; but the Church is not perfect. Given all this, we must remember what the writer tells us to the Hebrews in Hebrews 10:23-25, because as Faustino Zamora V says. "We must focus on Christ as Lord of his church to experience his grace and overcome imperfections"
What Carlos A. Borja Flores mentions about the imperfections of the Church is true. Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas also highlights this point by comparing the Church to spiritual Gilgal, a place full of meaning and symbolism throughout biblical history. It reminds us that the Church, like Gilgal, has had its moments of challenges and difficulties, but remains worthy of God's goodness and mercy. As mentioned in Hebrews 10:23-25 and Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas invites us to focus on Christ as the central axis of the Church, in order to experience the grace of God and overcome those imperfections that may arise. How important it is to keep our gaze on Christ and remember that He is the foundation of the Church! God bless your Word!
Wulfredo : What is in The Lord's Workshop: The disorders of the church translated into dissensions, immoralities, disputes between brothers, improper conduct, misunderstandings regarding doctrinal aspects, envy, murmurings, exclusivism, favoritism, prominence and many other evils that appear in the church today, are exactly the same (or worse) than those that were recurrent in the church of the first centuries. Even so, Jehovah of the armies of Israel loves us with that immense love that does not remove his Holy Spirit from the church. Tell me where is that perfect church that you want to find? Review our mind and transform it into the mind of Jesus. Amen
Wulfredo highlights a fundamental point: despite the disorders and problems that may arise in the Church, the love of God and the presence of His Holy Spirit continue to be present. Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas also addresses this topic by mentioning the imperfections of the Church, comparing it to the spiritual Gilgal. In this sense, it is important to remember that perfection is not found in the Church itself, but in Christ Jesus, who is the foundation and head of the Church. In 1 Corinthians 2:2 we are reminded that the focus must be on Jesus Christ and His redemptive work. Transforming our mind to the mind of Jesus will help us understand that the Church is a body made up of imperfect believers who need the grace and love of God. How beautiful it is to know that despite our failures, God continues to love His Church and work in its midst! May we reflect the mind of Christ more every day in our walk with Him! Amen!

May God continue to bless your life and ministry too! Amen!
