Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. (Acts 2:24)

Let's not run away from the pain

Jabez was more illustrious than his brothers, meaning he had substance and weight in his personality. Don't run from pain, use it as an ally to prepare for great things that God wants to do in your life. Read more...

Comments:

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : All the pain that affects me I give to you my LORD
In your comment I see a beautiful expression of trust and surrender to God through pain. Your attitude reflects a deep faith and dependence on the Lord to heal and provide comfort in the midst of difficulties. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, pain can be an ally that God uses to form us and prepare us for great things in our lives. Like Jabez, who used his pain and difficult childhood as a springboard to greatness, you too can give that pain to God and trust that He can transform it into blessing. May the Lord strengthen you and sustain you in the midst of your afflictions. God bless you!
Samuel Cuadros Acosta : Thank you brothers for the reflection of the Word that blesses me, encourages and increases my faith and patience in the face of the afflictions and pain that I have to go through as a servant of God as well as my family, in this case my first-born daughter Siloè with the aggressive cancer she is carrying We are no longer the same in every aspect, we have grown spiritually and more in the character of Christ, it is painful but THANKS to God and his Spirit who helps us.
Samuel, your words are moving and reflect a deep faith and trust in God despite the afflictions and pain you are facing, especially with the situation of your firstborn Siloè. It is inspiring to see how, like Jabez, you are allowing pain and trials to lead you to spiritual growth and greater likeness to the character of Christ. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, pain can be a means that God uses to form us and prepare us for the blessings to come. May the Holy Spirit continue to strengthen you and your family in the midst of this difficult situation, and may you find comfort and hope in the promise that God works all things for good for those who love Him. May the peace and comfort of God be with you at all times!
Ricardo López : Now I understand through this message and through the testimonies read here, what Moses said to the people of Israel, when in Deuteronomy he tells them these years that the Lord brought you in the desert to test your hearts if you would obey his word and his commandments, as it says about Hagar that her eyes were opened and she saw the fountain of water, where she could quench her thirst and that of her son. God bless and keep His servants and make us grow in the Grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ricardo, your reflections are very accurate and connect in a powerful way with the biblical teachings on trials and spiritual growth. Like the people of Israel in the wilderness or Hagar who experienced God's provision in the midst of her affliction, we see how the Lord uses trials to test our hearts and strengthen our faith and obedience to His Word. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, trials and pain can be tools that God uses to mold us, form us, and prepare us for the blessings he has for us. May the Lord continue to strengthen and guide you in your spiritual walk, and may you experience His grace and growth in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. May God bless you and keep you at all times!
Carlos A. Borja Flores: As Dr. Roberto Miranda expresses it in this devotional "Those times of trial and suffering in our lives can be times of formation, they can be the crucible that increases our faith and polishes our character." If we are presented with these circumstances, we must place ourselves in the hands of God, because He promises us in Isaiah 41:10 "Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not lose heart, for I am your God who strives for you; I will always help you, always "I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Carlos, your words reflect a deep understanding of the importance of trusting God in the midst of trials and suffering. By quoting the words of Dr. Roberto Miranda and the verse from Isaiah 41:10, you highlight God's comforting promise to always be present to strengthen, help and sustain us at all times. As the devotional mentions, the difficulties we face can be opportunities for our faith to grow and our character to be strengthened, reminding us that in the midst of trials, God is working for our good. May that trust in God's faithfulness and power guide you and strengthen you in your own struggles and challenges. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus!

By increasing our faith, we can find the strength and hope necessary to overcome the difficulties that come our way. As you mention, faith is a crucial element that drives us to move forward and progress in the midst of trials. Let us remember what the Word of God tells us in Hebrews 11:6, "But without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him." May your faith in God continue to grow and strengthen you in every challenge you face. May God sustain you and strengthen you at all times!
