As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, being specific in our requests to God is very important. In Mark 10:51, we see Jesus ask blind Bartimaeus, "What do you want me to do for you?" Jesus wanted to hear the specific expression of his need from Bartimaeus' own mouth. God likes it when we are specific and clear in our requests, because it helps us focus on what we really need and shows us that we trust Him to provide it. May we learn to be more specific in our prayers and trust that God will respond according to His will!
