And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men. (Micah 5:5)
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

In the world you will have affliction

Adversity, suffering, and trials will come into the lives of God's children, even if they serve the Lord and live just lives. Trials do not necessarily mean a lack of faith or holiness or punishment from God. When problems arise, we must cry out to the Lord and do everything in our power to overcome them while leaving the final solution to God. Difficult situations can come into our lives, but we must come before the Lord and present our cause and do everything on our side, then leave the result to the Lord. This world is a fallen world penetrated by the devil, and when struggles and crises come, we must seek a solution and face the problem, looking for the answer that God has for our lives. Maria de Lourdes jarrin: Difficult situations and tribulations are part of the world, they make us stronger and firmer. We must also return to the word of God when he tells us that his thoughts are good, He wants us to prosper in everything as our soul prospers. We live in this world but we are not of this world. Our essential being, our spirit is together with Christ in heavenly places.
Thank you, María de Lourdes, for sharing your perspective regarding the difficult situations and tribulations we face in this world. It is true that through them we can grow in strength and firmness in our faith. Remembering God's words about His thoughts of good for us helps us maintain hope and trust that He wants us to prosper in all aspects of our lives. As you mention, although we live in this world, our true identity and our spirit are in communion with Christ in heavenly places. May that awareness drive us to live according to our identity in Christ and to trust that He will guide us and sustain us in the midst of any adversity. Abundant blessings to you!
