The king's favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame. (Proverbs 14:35)
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. (Matthew 25:21)

Be faithful to God and see that He meets our needs

Approaching the Lord with confidence and authority comes from knowing that we are in His will and doing our part to please Him. Accumulating good works and serving the Lord helps us to approach Him with assurance. This is seen in the story of the widow who approached Elisha with an urgent request, reminding him that her husband was a servant of the Lord. Good works do not justify us to salvation but prepare the way for blessings from God. Let us live productive lives and sow for the Kingdom of God so that in times of need, we can approach the Lord with confidence and authority. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : The LORD has always helped me in times of need. Thank my God.
Dear Enrique Meneses Muñoz, thank you for sharing your comment. It is wonderful to recognize how the Lord always helps us in times of need. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, when we are faithful and seek to do God's will, we can approach Him with confidence and security. As the verse in Proverbs 14:35 says, the king's favor goes to the servant who acts wisely. Our God is a good and faithful God, and in Matthew 25:21, Jesus teaches us that those who are faithful in a little will be rewarded with much. May God continue to bless you and help you in all your needs!
Wulfredo : The Relationship of man with God. It is observed in the relationship of children with their biological father. If children honor their father, it is safer that the father will not refuse to come to the benefit of the son. That son who does not talk to his parent and lives in his capsule, separated from his family. When he is in affliction he is comforted by his father, because he is a father he cares for him, but the relationship is different with the one who seeks him out and talks with him with an unfeigned heart. This is our encounter with our God
Dear Wulfredo, thank you for sharing your perspective on man's relationship with God. It is true that the relationship between a father and his children can reflect the relationship we have with our Heavenly Father. As you mention, when children honor their father and maintain honest communication, the father is more likely to be willing to help and come to the child's benefit. In the same way, when we seek and approach God with a sincere heart, He listens to us and is willing to comfort us in our afflictions, as Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional points out. It is important to maintain a continuous relationship with God, dialoguing with Him and seeking His will. May you continue to experience the closeness and comfort of our Heavenly Father in your life. Blessings!
Francisco Diaz S.: Let us sow on earth to reap in heaven so that when we are judged the riches of our works will be abundant and overshadow our shortcomings.- God is merciful
Dear Francisco Diaz S., thank you for sharing your comment. You are absolutely right to mention the importance of sowing on earth to reap in heaven. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, accumulating good works for the Kingdom of God is essential. It is not about justifying ourselves through our works, but about living productive lives and serving the Lord. When the time of judgment comes, our works can be proof of our faithfulness and commitment to God. But it is also important to remember that God is merciful and loves us unconditionally. His mercy overcomes our shortcomings. Let us continue sowing and living in obedience to his Word, trusting in his grace and mercy. God bless you!
