He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? (Micah 6:8)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

He who loves a lot is forgiven a lot

God looks at the heart, not just actions, and is merciful to those who repent and seek Him. Even if we make mistakes, God can use them for good if we turn to Him. Jehoshaphat, who sought God with sincerity, received mercy despite his wrong decisions, while Ahab, who was rebellious, faced judgment. God only asks for simple things: to do justice, love mercy, and humble ourselves before Him. Read more...

Comments:

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : I thank GOD for all the sins he has forgiven me. Hallelujah, amen.
Dear Enrique, thank you for sharing your gratitude to God for his forgiveness. In Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional, he reminds us that God always has mercy on us if we repent and cry out to Him. As the Bible says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all evil." It is wonderful to know that God forgives us and cleanses us of our faults when we approach Him with humility and repentance. Hallelujah! Let us continue seeking the glory of God and trusting in his infinite mercy. God bless you!
Vicente Palma C: The Word of God says in 1 John 2:15, 16, 17 do not love the world or what is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, this does not come from the Father but from the world and the world and its desires will pass away, but he who does the will of God remains forever, thank you Lord because we trust in you we try to do your will we know that we are in this world full of sin and injustice but you give us strength not to fall into sin, in Christ Jesus Amen and amen
Dear Vincent, thank you for sharing that powerful verse from God's Word in 1 John 2:15-17. It is an important reminder not to love the world or the things in it, since everything that comes from the world does not come from the Father. However, as the verse you shared mentions, he who does the will of God remains forever. It is comforting to know that, despite living in a world full of sin and injustice, God gives us the strength to resist temptation and follow his will. Let us continue to trust Him and seek His guidance so that we can remain firm in the midst of adversity. God bless you! Amen.
Luz Stella: How beautiful when it says that Jehoshaphat had reserves of mercy towards God
Dear Luz Stella, it is really beautiful and comforting to see how Josaphat was benefited by the reserves of mercy he had towards God. Despite his wrong decisions, God saw his heart willing to sincerely seek Him and blessed him. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, "that humble and generous attitude on the part of the king of Judah made God have mercy on him again and again, and mitigate the negative consequences of his disobedient actions." This shows us that when we sincerely seek God and repent of our mistakes, He is willing to extend His mercy to us. Let us follow the example of Jehoshaphat and seek God's mercy at all times. God bless you abundantly!
Maria de Lourdes Jarrin: The Father's mercy is renewed every day. His soem glory is manifested in his children form
Dear Mary of Lourdes, thank you for sharing that beautiful truth about the Father's mercy. It is true, as you mention, that God's mercy is renewed every day. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional says, "God looks at the heart, not the perfection, of the individual." Even if we make mistakes and stray from His will, God is willing to forgive us and show us His grace again and again. It is through his mercy and grace that the glory of God is manifested in his children. When we experience God's forgiveness and mercy, we are transformed and can reflect His love and grace to others. Let us continue to seek God with humility and repentance, allowing his mercy to renew us every day and enable us to be bearers of his glory in this world. May the grace and mercy of the Father always be a source of joy and blessing in our lives! God bless you abundantly!
Maria de Lourdes Jarrin: God's mercy is renewed every day. And his glory is always manifested in his children.
Dear Mary of Lourdes, thank you for emphasizing again the daily renewal of God's mercy and the manifestation of his glory in his children. It is a wonderful truth that we must remember and hold onto every day. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional reminds us, God looks at our hearts and treats us not only according to our actions, but according to our intentions and attitudes toward Him. In His infinite mercy, God forgives us when we repent and gives us the opportunity to experience His constant love and grace. Furthermore, when we are transformed by his mercy, we can reflect his glory through our lives, showing the world his love and goodness. Let us continue to seek God, trusting in his mercy and allowing his glory to shine through us. May we be living witnesses of his love and grace every day. May the mercy and glory of God always be a source of joy and hope in our lives! God bless you abundantly!
Moises Mora: I always thought that everything done by me would never be erased, thank you Lord for your precious blood.
Dear Moses, thank you for sharing your thoughts. It is wonderful to recognize that the precious blood of Jesus has the power to erase everything we have done. As you mention, thanks to his sacrifice on the cross, we can experience God's forgiveness and restoration. God's mercy is infinite and his love covers us completely. Through Jesus, we have the opportunity to start over and live in His grace. As 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Let us continue to trust in the power of the blood of Jesus and his redemptive work. He is able to completely erase our transgressions and give us new life in Him. Let us always thank the Lord for his precious blood and his inexhaustible love. May we live in the freedom and hope that God's forgiveness brings us.
