(1 Samuel 3:7)He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
(Acts 19:2) The Holy Spirit in His manifestation of Power is available to all who believe
In the Old Testament, God chose specific people like kings, prophets, and judges to carry out His work. However, in the new administration of the church, God makes His gifts and the anointing of His Spirit available to all believers. The Holy Spirit's Power is available to everyone who believes, and it's the purpose of God that all believers receive the move of the Holy Spirit to be a useful instrument to the Lord. However, many believers lack that experience, that impartation, that Power of the Holy Spirit, and many churches do not teach believers how to enter into that blessing of the Holy Spirit-filled life. It's possible for one to have received Christ as Lord and Savior but not be baptized in the Holy Spirit, and it's possible to have the Holy Spirit but not have the Pentecostal experience of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, it's essential to seek and ask the Lord to fill us with the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
