And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (Mark 16:17)

Signs legitimize and authenticate a ministry filled with the Holy Spirit

The ministry of Jesus was characterized by the abundant and evident presence of the Holy Spirit, and the Church must also be characterized by this. The Church cannot exist only with doctrine and religious life, it needs the superabundant dimension of the Holy Spirit. In Mark 16:15, Jesus tells his disciples to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature, and adds that signs will follow those who believe, such as casting out demons, speaking new languages, healing the sick, etc. These signs validate and support a ministry, as they are evidence that God is with that ministry. The life of the children of God is generally accompanied by the incidence of signs of power, miracles, and supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit. We must ask the Lord to give us that quality in our lives, to live and put in evidence a supernatural life that manifests the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Read more...

María de Lourdes Jarrin.: Throughout time there has been much limitation on the part of the "churches" in the study, knowledge, and understanding of the power of the Holy Spirit of God who manifests his power through his children. Today is the time for the people of God to rise up and be understood in His word without alterations, the pure word that requires receiving from the Most High God all the power of His power as Ephesians says. The Holy Spirit is not only a helper but also the permanent present in the lives of the children of the Eternal God. It is like the hot air that allows eagles, without flapping their wings, to soar high. Thanks to Pastor Miranda who left these important life reflections.
Amen, Mary of Lourdes. You are right, throughout history there have been limitations in the understanding and study of the power of the Holy Spirit by some churches. But as you mention, we are in a time when God's people are rising and seeking a deeper understanding of His word without alterations. The Holy Spirit is more than a helper, it is the permanent presence in the lives of God's children, enabling and strengthening them in their spiritual walk. The analogy you make with the hot air that allows eagles to soar high without flapping their wings is beautiful. This is how the Holy Spirit is in our lives, he enables us and drives us to rise in the presence of God without human effort. We thank Pastor Miranda for his valuable reflections and teachings that invite us to seek a life full of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. Let us continue to seek that understanding and experience the power of the Spirit in our lives. God bless you!
