And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. (2 Chronicles 20:22)
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. (Acts 16:25)

Worship and spiritual warfare

Psalm 149 links worship and spiritual warfare. The people of God worship with joy, but also fight for His cause. Worship, coupled with an attitude of war, provides the necessary instruments to carry out Jehovah's purposes on earth. Through their defiant praise, God's people imprison the enemy and execute the judgments that God has decreed. Worship strengthens us, weakens the enemy's power, and prepares us for effective spiritual warfare. These two elements must always be united in the life of a church or a believer with a true supernatural vision. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : Wonderful to know that GOD is pleased with your praise and adoration. Amen.
Amen, dear Enrique Meneses Muñoz. It is really wonderful to know that God is pleased with our praise and worship. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, worship is a powerful tool that connects us with God and strengthens us for spiritual warfare. In Psalm 149, we see this connection between worship and spiritual warfare, where the saints of God exalt the Lord with their throats and at the same time have two-edged swords in their hands. This shows us that by fervently worshiping God, we are preparing ourselves to face spiritual battles and execute God's decreed judgments. As the verse in 2 Chronicles 20:22 says, when Judah began to sing songs and praises, the Lord set ambushes against their enemies and they were defeated. Our worship has a supernatural power that can bring victory and defeat the enemy. Let us continue to worship and praise our God with joy and enthusiasm, trusting that He will fight our battles. Blessings!
Francisco Diaz S.: Let us praise the Lord, sing hymns of adoration and God will work in our favor
Amen, Francisco Diaz S. What a beautiful statement! Praising the Lord and singing hymns of adoration are powerful acts that open the doors for God to work on our behalf. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, adoration fills us with God's anointing and strengthens us for spiritual warfare. When we give ourselves to praise and worship, we are inviting God's presence into our lives and allowing Him to fight our battles. Just like Paul and Silas, who at midnight prayed and sang hymns to God in the midst of their imprisonment, we can also trust that when we worship the Lord, He moves on our behalf and gives us victory. Let us continue praising and adoring the Lord with all our hearts, trusting that He will work in our favor. Abundant blessings to you!
Miguel Angel Valencia: Amen! In any case, we have to agree that for that Adoration and praise to have the Effect that God decrees in His Word, it must have the conviction that our heart is that of a True worshiper, that is, Living a life of Adoration.
Amen, Miguel Angel Valencia. You're right. Adoration and praise must come from a sincere heart and committed to God. As you mention, living a life of worship implies having a deep conviction that our hearts are completely given to God. It is in that total surrender where we find true worship. In Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional, we see how worship and spiritual warfare go hand in hand. It is necessary to maintain that attitude of spiritual warfare and have our "two-edged swords" in our hands while we worship the Lord. This implies living a life in holiness, in obedience to his word and in constant communion with him. As Psalm 149 says in verse 4, God delights in his people and beautifies the humble with salvation. Therefore, our worship must be supported by a life of humility and surrender to God. Let's keep looking for that conviction to be true worshipers, living a life of worship in everything we do. May our worship be a reflection of total surrender to God and may He work powerfully in our lives. Blessings to you on your walk of worship!
María de Lourdes Jarrín Ecuador: The reflections of Pastor Miranda have been of great nourishment for the spirit. The spiritual warfare with adoration and the word of authority that the Lord places in his children through the presence of his Holy Spirit, make us thank the Father once again for having known us forever and for having set us apart for Him.
Amen, Maria de Lourdes Jarrín Ecuador. It is wonderful to hear how the reflections of Dr. Roberto Miranda have been of great nourishment for your spirit. The connection between spiritual warfare, worship, and the authority of God's word is fundamental to our walk as children of God. As you mention, the Lord has always known us and has set us apart for Himself. With that awareness, we can face spiritual battles with confidence, knowing that we have the backing and authority of the Holy Ghost in our lives. The worship and the word of authority that flow from our relationship with God allow us to enter into that spiritual warfare with the certainty that we are backed by the power of the Most High. We are not alone in this battle, but we have the support and protection of our heavenly Father. Let us continue to thank the Father for his love and care for us, for having set us apart for Him, and for equipping us with the necessary tools to face spiritual battles. May the presence of the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen us at all times. Abundant blessings to you, María de Lourdes Jarrín Ecuador!
MARIO ROSALES: IT IS VERY JOY SPIRITUALLY
Amen, Mario Rosales. We are glad to know that you experience much joy spiritually. Worship and spiritual warfare are sources of deep joy in our spiritual lives. In worship, we connect with God's presence and experience His love and peace. In spiritual warfare, we know that we are collaborating with God's purpose and defeating the enemy. The combination of both fills us with joy because we know that we are in the will of God and we are instruments in His hands to advance His kingdom. As Psalm 149 says, the saints of God rejoice in His glory and sing even on their beds. Contemplating the greatness of God and experiencing His presence in our lives is something that fills us with joy and strengthens us spiritually. Let us continue to worship and war in the spirit with joy and gratitude, knowing that our joy is in the Lord. May spiritual joy continue to fill your life, Mario Rosales! Blessings to you.
MARIO ROSALES: MAY GOD PAY THEM
Thank you Mario Rosales. May God also bless you abundantly. We appreciate your words and your wishes. May the Lord continue to guide you and shower his blessings on your life. Have a day filled with God's grace and love!
