I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. (Psalm 81:10)
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. (John 14:14)
Charles Spurgeon

Am I asking what Jesus approves of?

The promise of "something" from God is vast and covers all our needs. We should always ask in the name of Jesus, which is a powerful argument before God. We must only use His name for prayers that Jesus himself would say. If we ask in accordance with His will, we will receive what we ask for. This comes from The Bank of Faith Checkbook by Charles Spurgeon. Read more...

Julio Ardura López : Excellent word! In these days meditating on what Jesus did on the cross, save one who had been condemned to be publicly crucified, to set an example for those present the consequences that had to be paid, for having done the Wrong. What until now had not understood the whole picture, what do I mean? Well, what, the relatives and everyone present heard Jesus say, remember when you come in your Kingdom, Jesus' response was blunt and powerful, today you will certainly be with me in the Kingdom of heaven. But in what circumstances was Jesus, in the worst circumstances that a person can be nailed to a tree and everything mocked and bleeding with a horrible aspect, in the eyes of those present and in our thoughts and imaginations at this time. No matter our situation, it can be catatastrophic, but it is not us, but the power of Jesus Christ in us, the Father Glorifies His Only Begotten Son, seeing that we have absolute trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen God keep you and continue to bless you in all Amen
