It is wonderful to see how reverent fear of the Lord brings us blessings and helps us live a virtuous life. As Charles Spurgeon reminds us in his devotional, "The fear of the Lord leads to virtuous habits, and these prevent that waste of life which comes from sin and vice."
The Word of God teaches us in Proverbs 10:27 that the fear of the Lord multiplies the days, while the years of the wicked will be shortened. And in Romans 14:8 he tells us that if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord, because we are the Lord's.
How beautiful it is to live every day for the Lord Jesus Christ, knowing that He is with us at all times. As Charles Spurgeon mentions, āThe true prolongation of life consists in living while we live, not wasting time, but using each hour for the highest purposes.ā
Let us continue to trust in God and live for Him, knowing that in both life and death, we belong to the Lord. May this message of blessing and comfort inspire us to live a life that honors our beloved Lord Jesus. God bless you abundantly!
