Vessels of honor

SUMMARY: Just like we have different utensils at home with different uses, as Christians, we are vessels that God wants to use to show the world his grace, power, love, and mercy. To be used effectively by God, we need to seek holiness and become more like Jesus in our behavior, attitudes, and words. We need to surrender our whole being to God and take necessary steps towards sanctification.

In our homes we have a variety of utensils to which we give different uses, some of them are only to be displayed in a specific place in the house. These for their appearance and value captivate our eyes but that is all. And we ask ourselves, what is its usefulness? Why do we invest our money in such objects since we do not use them?

This is not the case in the Christian life, we as fine, beautiful and high-priced vessels, we are the ones that God wants to use to show the world his grace, power, love and mercy. He wants to transmit his light through us to dispel the darkness that has blinded the eyes of men and women of this generation that calls the bad good and the good bad (old-fashioned, old-fashioned)
