The gift of generous giving

Andrés Cisterna
(Audio: Spanish)

SUMMARY: The pastor speaks about the importance of completing the construction of the new sanctuary and the power of coming together as a church community. He emphasizes the need for giving generously as an act of worship and gratitude to God, recognizing that all things come from Him. The generous believer prospers in all things and receives in the same way that they give. The pastor encourages the church to trust in God's faithfulness and to have a kingdom consciousness when giving to the work. He emphasizes that giving is not about receiving blessings, but about honoring God with one's goods and being a faithful steward of His creation. The pastor concludes by urging the church to have a fervent desire to be generous in God's work.

The author encourages readers to be generous in their giving to the church and to make a vow to the Lord. They use the story of Jacob and his vow to God as an example of how even when we only have a stone, we can offer it to the Lord and He will bless us. The author reminds readers that the Lord gave first by sacrificing His Son for us, and so we should also give generously. They also emphasize that giving should be a continual action, not just a one-time event. The author concludes with a prayer for blessings on the congregation and for those who make a new promise to the Lord.

I have the mission of being able to talk to you about what is in the heart of our pastor and it is interesting because we are living the last steps of the challenge to be able to finish the construction of the new sanctuary. How many are happy about that?

Probably someone will say, Lord, you do not live in a temple made by the hands of men. But we have a good time here when we sing to the Lord, or not? here there are a lot of temples, the Lord already dwells in us. But when we come together the Lord brings a blessing. Look how good and how delicious it is to live, dwell, share brothers together in harmony.
