SUMMARY: The woman with the issue of blood had a very serious and shameful disease that left her isolated from society. However, she took a great risk and approached Jesus with faith, breaking the Mosaic law. Her desperation and faith led to a miraculous healing. The story teaches us to have faith and take risks, trusting that God will support us in our desperate situations. We should always turn to God as our first option for solutions, even if it takes a long time to find them. We should also share the good news of Christ's provision with others who may be suffering.

The woman with the issue of blood changed the Lord's agenda. What made the difference was that great faith she had that the Lord could heal her. When we exercise that same kind of faith and desperate passion, and dare to take risks trusting in the mercy and Power of God, God is always ready to meet our need and will never reject us because we dared to approach Him.

Here in Luke chapter 8 in verse 43 it says that: "This woman who had had an issue of blood for 12 years." The flow of blood was a very terrible feminine affliction, especially in those times. It was a very small gradual bleeding that made a woman who could not stop this slight flow of blood in her intimate parts, first of all, suffered from a very shameful disease, secondly, that continuous escape of blood left her very weak because she practically bled and it lost energy, lost hemoglobin and lost strength, and therefore it was a disease that had a very strong effect on the body of the person.
