Reveal Jesus
Igna de Suárez(Audio: Spanish)
SUMMARY:
The Ministry of Jesus was marked by crowds who were hungry and thirsty for something more than the religious and political systems of the time. Jesus couldn't even have privacy because people always followed Him. The Father revealed His Son to the multitudes, Peter, Paul, and to us through His Holy Spirit. We cannot hide Him because the Father has revealed Him to us. The first means the Father uses to reveal His Son is creation itself, from sunsets to mountains.
The Father uses creation, His Word, and works of power to reveal His Son. The Old Testament speaks of Christ and the prophets foretold His coming. However, we can hinder Him from being revealed by neglecting evangelization and denying Him like Peter did. We must prioritize making Him known to others.
The speaker talks about the importance of revealing Christ in our lives, not just by speaking, but also by our actions. He shares his own experience of meeting Christ through a woman who spoke passionately about Him, and how he has shared his faith with others ever since. He encourages listeners to share their faith with others, and to do so with the same passion that Christ has touched their lives. He also shares an anecdote about his grandchildren learning to evangelize.
The speaker talks about the importance of sharing one's faith in Jesus Christ and how it should not be hidden. He shares a personal experience of ministering to a young girl and how it impacted her life. The speaker emphasizes the need to talk about Jesus with words and actions, and shares a Bible verse from 1 John 1. The speaker invites those who were invited to the service by a friend or family member to come forward and accept Jesus as their personal Savior. The audience prays together and the speaker asks for God's blessing upon them.Gospel of Mark chapter 7 verse 24 says: "Getting up from there he went to the region of Tire and Sidon and entering a house he did not want anyone to know but" say it with me "but" say it harder "he could not hide, tell him to the person next to him "couldn't hide."
One of the beautiful characteristics of the Ministry of the Lord Jesus when you read His Gospels you will find a characteristic that marked His Ministry and it was the crowds. Where the Lord was the crowds came, it was the days when people were hungry and thirsty. The political systems of the Roman Empire had not been able to meet their needs and neither had the religious systems.
