Lou Engle

The prophet Lou Engle is a man of national prominence, a man of God. He is of national prominence because he is a man of God and because God uses him in prophetic words, in intercession, in discerning the voice of God for this nation, at a key time in its history. And among many other things in which he has been used by the Lord, he has written books, but also to convene large crowds of people at regional and national level events to pray for the nation, to intercede for the nation.

Perhaps some of you participated in The Call, which took place in various cities in the US about 3, 4 years ago and had tremendous resonance in this nation.

And God uses it in many ways. He travels everywhere, releasing the blessing of God and releasing the word that God has placed in his heart, so we welcome him this morning.

I just want to tell you that I've been walking the country working for a long time. When Brian and I arrived at this place this morning, I had no idea what anyone was saying in this place, but my spirit clearly felt the presence of the Lord. I was crying all the time and I said to myself 'Lord, I promise that when I go up there I will tell you how refreshed I feel in this place. Then my sister arrives and whispers in my ear, she told me 'you have not only come to refresh but to be refreshed as well'.

Hallelujah! and this adoration was off the charts. Who wants preaching after that?

I want us to pray for our president. We have launched a house of prayer in Washington DC, one block from the Supreme Court, the building. And we prayed there day after day for 16 months for God to change the direction of this nation. And in those 16 months, two judges have been removed from their position and there is a third on the way as well. And the report out there in Washington is that there is already a third Supreme Court justice who is going to resign soon.

I believe that prayer is the most powerful force in the universe. It is more powerful than the nation's politicians, more powerful than the educated elite. Prayer is the force that governs the universe and I believe that the church is receiving that message.

I had a dream recently that Senator Kennedy himself did not want to leave our house of prayer because he had been influenced by our prayers, and in the dream he wanted to talk to me. And I believe that prayer is louder than all the atheistic noise of all the people, of all the politicians. And it seems overwhelming, we feel so small in the light of spiritual powers, but God says that from the mouths of babes and children, He has ordained strength to silence the enemy and the avenger. The weak things will confound the wise. The things that are nullify the things that are. And prayer is the weakest thing that we can do, but it forces the most powerful being in the universe and when God enters the stage, everything is over. Hallelujah!

I want to talk to you about dreams today because that is how God has led us on our journey. The Bible says 'in the last days I will pour out my spirit. The young and the old will dream dreams and see visions. They are not simply prophetic toys that we tinker with, but are to give destructive weapons to come against the spiritual powers.

In 1999 a leading prophetic voice across America named Bob Jones gave the following word and this was given before George Bush ever thought of running for the presidency and he spoke as follows : 'A burning bush is going to come out of Texas,' he said, 'and in the second half of his second presidency, if the church will pray he will do far more than any other president to end abortion, to clamp down on gay marriage and to return prayer to schools'. If the church prays!

And the church has been praying because they put us against the wall. God has created a crisis to create prayer, because once He receives the prayer He is released, then awakened for His divine activity on earth. He is waiting for an opportunity, an occasion to enter the war. 9/11 has been used by the Lord as an occasion to go to war.

God hates the dominance of the powers of darkness over his church and I believe that he is looking to raise a breath of prayer that will change the history of America. We have been praying for George Bush for 5 years that he be a burning bush, a burning bush, and that God take control of that man so that he raises up judges of justice who begin to destroy that power that the judges of America have at this time.

In 1996 I had a dream that I was leading thousands of young people up the stairs in a building with large columns......and that I was leading them to war against that building. 1996. And I am currently in the middle of my dreams, of those dreams that I had, there we have been in front of the Supreme Court striking again and again and declaring 'your Kingdom come, your will be done on the judges of America'. Hallelujah!

Can you please get up with me? We want to pray that George Bush, in his second term, will not be an inactive and passive president, but that the fire of God will be on him to move this nation towards God's justice. Raise your hand and let's pray. In the name of Jesus, God, the King of the universe and of history, we pray for our Lord President. Make it a burning bush that liberates those who have not yet been born, that raises up the Moses who will say 'let my people out'. Make it a burning bush. God that they can stand firm and restrict gay marriage. Rise up the Senate too, Lord, to take its stand for justice and restitution. And right now we ask, Lord, for the 2008 elections. Raise the just, Lord, and destroy the unjust. God, take this nation back, take it back, Lord. Come to Boston, Lord, the root of the nation. God give us an awakening like we have never seen before. Raise the voice of your church. Oh, get out of the caves and start contending with Jezebel's rule over the earth. Release the spirit of righteousness, Lord. Raise the voices of the Latinos, Lord, of the intercessors, God, that they remove the powers. We believe, Lord. We believe in your power in the name of Jesus. Amen. Give a big shout to the Lord. Hallelujah! We adore you Lord. Thank you Jesus. We bless you, Lord. You can sit down.

That's what happens when you're with Latinos. It is the hot blood of the Latinos. And that's going to save America. I've been preaching that for years. That cold-blooded New Englander needs the hot-blooded Latinos.

Everywhere I go I'm always spitting but it's holy water, holy water.

There is a man named Derrick Prince who wrote a book called 'Forging History Through Fasting', and 20 years ago that book that Derrick Prince wrote became my text, my operations manual. The premise of that book is the following: 'the church that prays and fasts directs the course of history'. This book took possession of my life, so I began to fast. I hate fasting. I like Mexican food for example. But I have a love-hate relationship with fasting. I hate it because I love food, but I love it because in fasting I find the food of revelation. God becomes real and things start to shift and change when I pray and fast.

One time I was fasting and I told people I was fasting, but I got tired of fasting, so I started cheating a little bit. I know none of you have ever done that. TRUE? And in fact I move a little, from the age of one year I've been doing it and so there is hope for you too, brothers. Someone has to move from one place to another. So I started to cheat a little bit on this fast and put a little bit of yogurt and potato chips on the fast, a pretty good mix. And the other day I was in the 24-hour house of prayer and this intercessory, prophetic woman comes and approaches me. I am afraid of those people, in fact, and he tells me 'I had a dream last night and in that dream you were sitting exactly where you are sitting now'. And I was thinking: yes, Lord, I know that You know exactly where I live. And she says, 'but in the dream I was so disappointed in you because you were supposed to be fasting but you're eating chips and yogurt.' And for now receive a fresh anointing to continue fasting.

Do you love the Lord? I am watching you, I am watching you, He says. In any case, there are no great heroes, but I have fasted a lot in my life. It's a play on words, 'fasting' is fast, it says it's 'stopping'.

So I started on this fasting journey and we began to see a move of God in Pasadena, California, hundreds of thousands of people. Years of prayer and fasting and in that journey I reached a point where the Lord began to move me about the fact that prayer and fasting can determine the destiny of this nation.

At the Promise Keepers march, a million men were there to pray for this nation. And a week later I took USA Today magazine in my hands in front of 600 young people and the spirit of prophecy fell upon me and I began to declare that the hearts of the fathers have turned to the children and the hearts of the children have turned to their children. would have to return to the parents; and a corresponding movement of youth is coming to Washington DC, and there will be a John the Baptist, a Nazarite or John the Baptist type extreme praying and fasting continually. And when that desperate group of people go to the Washington Mall, it will be a sign that America is turning back to God.

At that prophetic moment there was no way I could execute something of that magnitude, but we began anyway to gather and unify young people to fast and pray for a massive youth revival across America. . And a year and a half after that prophecy, in January 1999, while I was praying and fasting, the fire of the Lord began to burn within me, and I began to pray the following prayer:

How Can I, Lord, turn America around and turn it back to God? It seemed like a wild, impossible sentence. But we need to pray prayers that are far beyond our abilities. I was working and clamoring for that prayer and at that moment a woman I had never met came up to me and said the following: 'I read your book on revival. You don't know who I am, but the Lord told me that this year I must pay your salary because you are going to start something that has to do with youth and prayer in America that is going to change the nation. And I find myself looking at this woman and thinking: Who are you woman?, but I took her money anyway.

And for 6 years this woman has been paying my salary. And for 3 months I didn't know what to do until a week before that tragedy that took place in Columbine where some young people killed many schoolmates, she approached me and said, have you ever thought about the young people in that plaza immense that there is in Washington, as well as Promise Keepers, this men's organization, put the men there, to put the young people in that place also in that place to demonstrate? And I told her, 'Lady, two years ago I prophesied exactly that.' And she said, 'I'm going to give you a hundred thousand dollars to start this youth movement which started a supernatural move of God that led to four hundred thousand young people coming together on the Mall, right there at that demo place in Washington DC, not to listen to music. of rock, not to listen to people who declared or spoke, because we already have too many declaimers and preachers, we have to enter God again on earth. And they came from all over America to fast and pray. We have been teaching our young people to celebrate and have parties for too long, but times demand rather fasting and prayer. And the youth of America are beginning to catch the vision and do this.

Shortly after that time a group of young people came to Yuma, Arizona and fasted for 40 days, and on the 39th night the spirit of God fell upon them and when those young people returned to their homes, their parents immediately when they arrived began to cry and hand over their.....

The next day a timid young lady in that outpouring stood on her cafeteria table at school and began to preach the Gospel. And the principal of the school took her and took her to his office and said 'you can't do that in this place'. And she said 'I have to obey God before men', not knowing that when they pulled her up and took her to the principal's office, another young man took her place on the table and began to prophesy in the same way. And in 11 days 50 young students gave their lives to Jesus Christ. Today there is a gigantic church in Yuma, Arizona, that came out of those prayers and those fasts.

I'm telling you, that's what our ancestors did, they prayed and fasted. And this is how the revivals in Latin America have also started and this is also going to take place in Boston today.

And I can tell you story upon story but I don't have time. Immediately after that God gave me another dream and showed me that there were other meeting places where we had to have these demonstrations. And in that dream the Lord spoke to me and said 'there is no one who is targeting false ideologies and attacking them with prayer and fasting', and in my dream I could see the false ideologies of Boston being removed by fasting and the sentence. I could see the humanism at Harvard being removed and that's why we declared The Call, a big demonstration that was here in Boston.

I was mobilizing young people to come to Boston in the year 2001. You may remember that big demonstration that you saw in Boston came 11 days after the towers were demolished on September 11. Many people from New England They called us and told us 'we can't go. The thing is not certain,' and that bothered me extremely. Why can Muslims die better than us Christians for our Christian faith? We can die better than Muslims. We are living to preserve ourselves instead of to bring in the Kingdom of God. We cannot live for self preservation.

Esther was brought to a time in history where she had to choose whether she would live for self-preservation or to say 'if I die, may I die' 'if I perish, may I perish'. And right now I have young people there in the middle of Washington DC, who are telling me 'we are not going to leave this house of prayer until that hateful abortion decree is finished, and we perish, let us perish'. Hallelujah!

While I was mobilizing to come to Boston I told some young people in California 'we need to start digging the wells again at Harvard University and close the doors on false ideologies in Boston (this was stated by him in California a while ago). Amazingly, amazingly a week after this I received a phone call from the US Senator for the state of Kansas, Senator Sam Brownbag, a man of God. And this man calls me and says 'Lou, I'm in England, you need to dig the revival wells at Harvard and close the doors on the false ideologies that are affecting the city of Boston.' Almost word for word. A senator was prophesying to me, Glory to the Lord.

In fact, it had been previously prophesied about me that I was going to be connected with a senator named Saint Brownback from Kansas, a specific prophecy had been given to me. And I had forgotten that prophecy, so when I rented a condo in Washington DC to mobilize for The Call, this call, a week later I received a phone call from the owner of that condo that was renting, and he told me 'there is a Senator named Sam Brownbag. His condo just burned to the ground and he wants to know if he can stay in the condo where you are.’ And I became the roommate of one of the most powerful senators, Senator Sam Brownbag for 7 months. We started getting dreams of wanting him to one day become the president of the United States, and right now, who knows? We are praying. Amen.

I believe that when one prays supernatural things begin to happen, divine promotions begin to take place. One becomes a head instead of a tail. His boss named Nebuchadnezzar begins to be haunted by dreams and you interpret the dreams and become the boss of your business.

I believe that the deans of Harvard University may be haunted by dreams from heaven if the church begins to harass the powers that be at Harvard University to remove and destroy those false ideologies.

In the year 2001 I was traveling with Dutch Sheets, our prophet. How many know Dutch Sheets or his ministry? He's a powerful man of prayer across the nation, we were at Harvard and we started praying and on that night he says to me 'Lou, we still haven't reached and finished praying for Harvard. We need to make a night attack to intercede for Harvard. So I said 'Go ahead'. So we left the place where we were and went to Harvard, but on the way we got lost because Harvard is scattered everywhere. Harvard is here, it is there. So we didn't know where to go, we didn't know if we were on campus or where we were. And finally we said 'okay, let's park' and we turned into a dark street and there we parked and we said 'okay, let's pray right here where we are'. So we got out of the car and we see a large entrance, a very large gate that leads to a very dark patio and we could barely see in the dim light that was there, the buildings that were around that patio. So we go into that courtyard, very dark, and we don't know what to do, so Dutch, my partner, goes to one of the buildings and suddenly exclaims 'Lou, this is the specific place where we have to pray. This is the very building that I wrote about in one of my books called that book The River of God. It is the philosophy building of Harvard University and written on the very front embedded in that building was inscribed on the building 'the words of Psalm 8 "What is man that you have memory of him?"

And then he begins to tell me the history of that building about which he wrote in his book about how the president of Harvard at that time had asked the dean of the department of Philosophy at the university what that dean wanted that it was written about the new philosophy building that was going to be inaugurated precisely...... and the dean of the philosophy department said 'I would like to inscribe on that building 'man is the sum of all things'. And that was like the absolute declaration of humanism and the glorification of man. But instead the president of the university put up scaffolding and locked him up so no one would see what was being written on the building and secretly a God fearing man of God had the words "What He is the man for you to remember.”

What do you think are the chances that in the middle of the night, lost, we would arrive at the precise building that he had written about in his book years before? I am going to tell you, it is not just any event, the Lord says 'it is here specifically that I am going to take my position of war and I am going to send my stone of David from Psalm 8 to the Goliaths of humanist ideologies. I am going to make this my place of war and the Lord spoke to me at that time. ‘No one is aiming to attack false ideologies with fasting and prayer.

I have a dream in my soul today, that the humanistic philosophies of the universities are going to be destroyed and toppled by our houses of prayer. Those young people in Washington DC have a house of prayer that's shaped like a spearhead and it's pointing right at the Supreme Court building and sometimes 24 hours a day they're throwing that slingshot, throwing that rock of the word of God against Rowe vs. Wade for abortion. We cancel your pact with death, and we are throwing that stone over and over again.

What if a house of prayer was built on Harvard's doorstep with young patriots from all over New England? Young men and women between the ages of 18 and 30 will dedicate 6 months to a year of their lives to fuel a house of prayer and how David's slingshot can be fired against those false ideologies until the demonic powers are struck down.

When God begins to remove teachers or begins to convert them, when young Daniels begin to be lifted up instead of submitting to their mentors who are demonized, why not Daniels who have revelation that can disciple their teachers. Why do we have to be dominated by the Philistine culture? God wants to go to war, not in anger but with words of wisdom from heaven to pierce the darkness.

When we launched our house of prayer in Washington, this young man here, Brian Kim, had been fasting for two years, from meats and sweets, not eating meats and sweets. It was a Daniel fast, for two years praying for abortion to be struck down in America. And when George Bush was elected, a pro-life president, and I'm not saying he's a great president, but what I'm saying is we can't have 8 more years of bloodshed in America. Do you understand what I am telling you?

And he said to the Lord right after the election 'God, I'm going to end this Daniel fast tonight at midnight, unless you confirm to me today that I should continue my Daniel fast' . At 10 in the morning he begins to study and Brian sees a young man whom he does not know come in and he greets this young man, and says 'my name is Brian Kim', and the man answers him, says 'hello, my name is Daniel Fast, his name was Daniel Fast, which means Daniel Fast, in English it works.....'. The young man's name was precisely Daniel Ayuno, as in English. They understand?

God was prophetically telling Brian to 'keep on with your fast because you are removing powers in the heavens with your fast'. And he had a dream, the reward of fasting, and he saw a group of people, thousands of people in Washington DC with a tape in their mouth with the word 'life' on the tape in their mouth.

How many of you have seen people with a tape over their mouths on the news? That is our group. We have done what the dream told us to do. And we stand in front of the Supreme Court with this tape over our mouths, not in protest but appealing to a Court, crying out for the blood of Jesus saying "abortion ends in this place, in the name of Jesus." The news has prophesied life all over the world, taking pictures of these young people and they are prophesying exactly what they believe is the wisdom of God against and contending in the heavens and shouting to the nations 'life, life. amen'.

So for that reason we have launched this house of prayer in Washington DC and now the Lord has directed us to come here to the city of Boston. Because the Lord gave me a dream of a 40-day fast and told me 'wherever The Call ministry goes, I am going to establish my houses of prayer. In other words, it is not enough to just have an event, one has to sustain what one has achieved with a 24 hour house of prayer, with Moses raising his hands to the heavens, and with the Joshuas and Daniels fighting on the ground, on earth.

We are launching a house of prayer on the same portals as Harvard University. And we are going to see if God is bigger than the domain of humanism in this universe. We are crying out and calling for 40 days of fasting. From March 1 to April 9, from Ash Wednesday to Palm Sunday. April 9 is the 100th anniversary of the Azusa Revival, the first Pentecostal revival in the 20th century. National top leaders are calling for this fast. And we're looking for a million people to fast and pray for 40 days for the Lord to pour out his spirit on America.

We believe, as the prophets are saying, it's not just the centennial anniversary of Azusa Street, of the Pentecostal revival, but the Lord is coming. The Lord is coming. As the writer says, when you see a cloud the size of the palm of a man's hand, if you put your hands between your knees and you begin to pray for the rain to fall, there are already signs of the outpouring of the spirit.

Just last night I was in Maine, people are becoming a cold state, addicted to drugs and we were hearing reports, at North Western University, at Asbury University, young people are pouring out in regret . There are signs that God is coming and we need an army to rise up to fight the wars of the Lord.

I don't think it's an accident that Roberto and I are connected this morning. And I don't believe that prophecy came up this morning, that the hand of God is upon this man to bring leadership to this city and to unify prayer. Perhaps that could be the bow to shoot the little arrow of our house of prayer to contend day and night.

God gave me a dream in the year 1996 and in that dream a Buddhist house of prayer was dominating the Christian house of prayer, but the Christian house of prayer began to come out of its inferior position and began to dominate the buddhist prayer house. And the Lord spoke to me at that time as if it were a job description for my life 'build up a house of prayer that will contend with all other houses of prayer.'

How are the youth of America going to contend with the youth of Hamas, the fanatical Arabs who are wanting to be martyred, grabbing their banners and saying 'Mohammed, a billion people are ready to die for you? ? We need to find reserves in the heart of the church, with fasting, prayer, passion for Christ, that can contend against Muslims and their houses of prayer.

I tell you, our battle against Muslim houses of prayer is much bigger than our fight against Harvard, because these Muslim houses are being fed by demonic spirits. And humanism is just a secular group of people. God's people need to stretch out the rod of God and destroy the building of humanism. So we are calling the youth and older people to enter into 40 days of fasting and prayer.

I'm one of the people who's going to go into that...... and bring your worship group one of those nights. And we are going to intensify that laser beam of our lives, we are going to intensify. We are going to believe that God is going to do something powerful, when Daniel established his face, no distractions, nothing to bother and distract him to penetrate simply without knowing it and he was fasting without knowing that the demons were warring against his time of fasting and prayer. And we know that through Daniel's prayer he gained dominion over all those little kings, over the entire Persian empire. The powers of Persia are rising again in Iran. Who will confront those powers? God

That is why we are declaring these 40 days of fasting and prayer, we are looking for a nucleus, a reserve of 40 young people from 17 to 30 years of age who want to give themselves to 40 continuous days of fasting and prayer. He wants to know if he finds a little Latin fire in this place right here. And then after those 40 days we are prepared to launch a house of prayer that by the grace of God will not end until the well of revival begins to rise again, until the ideology of humanism is struck down by the word of Psalm 8.

I believe that God wants to use weak things to confuse the wise. The Scripture says that from the mouths of children, you have commanded your strength because of your enemies, to silence the enemy and the avenger. When I consider the heavens, the work of your hands, the sun and the moon that you have created, what is man that he has knowledge? Glory to the Lord.

Little children who believe in a God that atheistic babble their prayers could shake the foundation. Do you believe that this morning?

The truly great things are my children for whom I am praying and fasting for penetration. How many need a great victory from the Lord in their lives? How many do you need? God we pray for the grace of fasting and prayer to descend upon this people in Jesus name. We pray that they will take leadership for this city as a spearhead of intercession to destroy principalities and powers. Use the humility of the Latinos to destroy the pride of the Americans. Release dreams and visions about this company of God. Let a whirlwind of faith take place in the name of Jesus. Give them the keys to remove history in the name of Jesus.

Do you now dare to receive the grace of the anointing of fasting and prayer because that is what is being released. Amen. Amen. ......in the name of Jesus, we release revelation on this town.
