Submission is not something that is required but is granted

RESUMEN: Submission to God is difficult for the natural man because it goes against their worldview, but it is essential for disciples of Christ. However, submitting to others should not be forced, but granted. We should practice submission out of fear of God, who is the perfect example of submission. Lack of fear of God and submission to one another is the affliction of the world. We need to learn more about this theology and make it a reality in our lives. Answer God's voice today through prayer.

The natural man gets up every morning with his rifle at the ready ready to shoot at close range, without qualms or warnings, against the human being who lives with him. All because in his worldview the creator God of the Universe does not fill the empty niche of his loneliness, frustrations and afflictions. The adage of submitting to God sounds like humiliation, degradation, shame, and outrage. The formula of submitting to another smells like the cracking of virtue.

If submission to God is a serious matter for the disciple of Christ, submitting ourselves to another or others gives evangelical chemistry a formula value that is difficult to resolve. We cannot expect others to submit to us using constant reminders that they must because the Bible says so. Christ never reminded His disciples to submit to Him. His example and lifestyle were sufficient. All of them understood that subjection was an indispensable element for a transparent relationship with their Master. Submission is not something that is required but is granted.

And what about the fear of God? Perhaps we are not prone to practice submission because we are not able to see in the other person attitudes that deserve our submission. The apostle Paul specifies that the image of the other person is not what should inspire us when it comes to practicing submission, but God, that we should do it out of fear of God. His own Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, is the most perfect example of absolute submission to the will of his Father, who is also ours.

I am convinced that the affliction of the world is for want of both; there is no fear of God, therefore there is no submission to Him; nor have we yet learned to submit to one another in the fear of God. We need to learn a lot about this theology… in order to hear its voice more clearly. The tessitura of his voice is not what matters, but our spiritual disposition to make it a reality in our lives. Then submission will bring glory and raise honor to His name and will inevitably give us power.

If you heard his voice today, answer him! Remember that a life without prayer is a life without God. A thousand blessings.
