Gratitude
Faustino de Jesús Zamora VargasIt's always about God. He produces the changes and brings the new seasons. God disposes when the heart humbles itself. On this beautiful land, millions have prostrated themselves invoking the name of God for decades and it seems that we are already on the threshold of a different dawn where hope brings a new smile and new air to forget the old remnants definitely and glorify the one who lives forever. God's people on this island have never stopped seeking his face. We learned to pray for those in eminence, with one eye open and the other closed, but always with hope as a pillow under our bent knees.
God surprises you with his mercies and puts good men in gaps that seem bad so that his name may be exalted. By the grace of God, Christ continues to enter a Cuban scene where he had previously been forbidden to tread. There are no more places here where you can't find a child of God identifying himself as a Christian. And since there was no possibility of doing missions outside the island through formal channels, hundreds of Cuban Christian missionaries dressed as doctors of the Most High are scattered throughout dozens of countries around the world, curing diseases and planting the seed of the gospel.
This is an answer from God to the prayer of a Christian people who humble themselves for years and will continue to humble themselves. A double gift of God's grace. I remember a protest song from the 70s in Cuba that said: "Maybe a machete gets entangled in the weeds, maybe on many nights the stars don't want to come out ..." Finally the stars are coming out again and the weeds are clearing. opening new paths for the Lord.
I want to thank God for those who always humbled themselves and today join a new army of salvation from their knees, those who never lost faith and had God's resources for the dawn of a new Cuba, a Cuba of Christ and definitely for Christ.
God bless your word!
