RESUMEN: Losing loved ones, especially children, is incredibly difficult and painful. It is natural to want to pray for their souls and salvation, even after physical death. We must learn to live with our burdens and rely on God for comfort. Sometimes, physical death may be necessary to save a soul. The spiritual death of our children is just as painful, and we must pray for them and appeal to divine mercy. Persevering in prayer does not make the pain disappear, but God comforts us in our tribulations. His grace is sufficient for us in our weakness.

If there is something that has always been difficult for me to deal with, it is the loss of loved ones and even worse if it is children. I have a son, the very idea of losing him causes indescribable pain, that is why I can feel the pain of those who are going through the test and I know that the only consolation can be found in our Lord.

Some time ago a mother asked me if even after death she could intercede for the forgiveness of her sins and her salvation. There are so many things that I do not know! It would be presumptuous of me to have told you that after physical death there was no comfort, but God is so merciful! We will never have the magnitude of his love for us, I only answered him: -if your heart tells you to pray for the soul of your son, do it, if that gives you comfort, do it, no matter what someone may tell you, God only knows to what extent he listens to a mother's plea.
