Lay aside your vase and serve God
Olga MartinezRESUMEN:
Doctor Olga Martinez from Guatemala spoke about discouragement and how it can come into our lives unexpectedly when things don't turn out as we expected. This can lead to a feeling of emptiness, dissatisfaction, and unfulfilled needs. Discouragement can cause a person to change character, become fearful, and make wrong decisions. However, it is important to remember that God is always working in our lives, even if we can't see it, and the best is yet to come. We should never leave a place or church because of discouragement or disillusionment. Instead, we should turn to God and ask for direction and guidance.
Disillusionment and discouragement can be devastating if we allow them to control our thoughts and actions. It is important to have a renewed mind controlled by the Holy Spirit and to maintain control of internal dialogues. When faced with discouragement, it is okay to cry but we must not remain stuck in that place. We should bring our discouragement and disillusionment to the Lord and wait upon Him for what is ahead. We must change our perspective and take advantage of opportunities for service that God provides. God wants us to leave indifference aside and go out to speak of Him and share the gospel. We must make a commitment to serve the Lord and ask for renewal and increased strength.
God gives strength to the weary and will multiply the strength for those who don't have any. We should ask for new strength from the Lord to renew our service. Whatever is keeping us from serving God fully, we should leave it at His feet and commit to being used by Him in any way He wants. We should yield our lives completely to Him and ask Him to take us to the level of service He has for us.I want to invite Doctor Olga Martínez, she is from Guatemala, those of you who don’t know her and she is a member of very beautiful congregation in the capital in Guatemala and she’s going to be blessing us with the word she has been actually preaching for the women’s ministry this Saturday, yesterday, and God used her in a very mighty way. I’ll be translating for her and we will just let the Lord speak to us. Close your eyes for a moment please.
We thank you, Father, this morning, you allow us to be here present, and we ask that your favor, your mercy continue pouring itself upon our lives and we come before that your word come through my mouth and my spirit that it might touch the spirit of others.
