Conflicts will always be with us, the question is how are we going to solve them?

SUMMARY: In Matthew 20:20-28, the mother of two disciples asks Jesus to give them a place of honor in His Kingdom, causing conflict among the disciples. This teaches us that conflicts will always arise in the Church, but we must learn to recognize and deal with them in a way that follows the principles of Scripture. On the God Speaks Today website, it is important to allow freedom of expression while also following principles of decency, generosity, and care for others' sensibilities. By doing so, we can express the love of Christ and avoid conflicts that may turn people away from seeking God.

We see here a situation of conflict that develops between the disciples of Jesus Christ. The mother of these two disciples approaches the Lord with a somewhat strange request, that when the Lord is in His Kingdom, he assign a preferential place to her two children, one on the right and one on the left of the Lord Jesus Christ. < ! - break ->

The passage of Scripture that will serve as a starting point for our meditation is found in the Gospel according to Matthew chapter 20 beginning with verse 20 in fact. It says here that: "The mother of the sons of Sebedee approached Jesus" with her sons "prostrating herself before Him and asking for something. He said to her: what do you want? two children of mine, one on Your right and the other on Your left. "
