RESUMEN: Disciplining a child is important to prevent them from becoming a potential disaster in the future. Parents should exercise authority consistently and teach their children what toys are for, so they don't break things that are not theirs. It is also important to guide the child properly and teach them in all areas of life, not just in the word of God. Inconsistent authority can be more damaging than rigor. Divine discipline always follows when we do something outside of God's will. The education of a child takes a lot of work, but the better we discipline them in childhood, the less they will have to be disciplined by God. Parents need to have the fear of God and walk wisely in his ways.

A child without discipline is a potential disaster down the road. Some parents complain that their children touch everything, especially what they should not, but they do not take into account that when the child is in a pure tantrum, we give him anything, even if it is not a toy, to calm him down. If the child recognizes what his toys are, it is unlikely that he will break things that do not touch him because he simply does not have to take them in his hands and for this you have to exercise authority, but consistently.

My son's toys were within his reach, I internalized that they were to be used and their purpose was to break. This allowed other things not to break and when he tried to touch something that was not touching, I expected him to be close to contact and gave him a spanking accompanied by a "psssss" that he did with my mouth. Over time I realized the benefit that this brought me, I stopped spanking and only produced the sound, my son reacted, it was even very useful when he was not in sight, a single pssss and he appeared as if by art of magic, Today he is 20 years old and still responds to this stimulus.

If the life of a child is properly guided, it is a blessing and unites the marriage more, it is evident that what is not important for one of the spouses, for the other is important and this we must take into account because we all do not have the same standards, priorities and character, that will be of benefit to the couple, let us never forget that the word of God says "Instruct the child in his way and not even when he is old he will depart from it" this does not only refer to instructing him in the word of God but in all areas of your life and sometimes inconsistent authority is more damaging than rigor.

Taking into account that when we do something that is outside of God's will, the consequence that is nothing more than Divine Discipline always comes behind. God tells us in Hebrews 12.11 “It is true that no discipline at present seems to be a cause of joy, but of sadness; but afterward it bears the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained in it. "

Why do we think our children don't need our discipline? The education of a child takes many hours of work and even doing things that one would not want to do. The better we "discipline" in the childhood of our children, the less they will have to be disciplined by God, but to achieve this result, parents need to feel the fear of God in their lives and walk wisely in his ways because "The fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Most Holy is understanding ”(Proverbs 9:10).
