Blackout at the lighthouse

SUMMARY: As Christians, we are called to be the "light of the world" and guide others to salvation. However, our divisions and denominations have caused darkness to take hold. We must unite as one body and go out into the world to fulfill the Great Commission. Let's confront our attitudes and cry out to God for guidance.

Whenever someone mentions the word 'lighthouse' to us, the first thing that comes to mind is a light in the midst of absolute darkness, which serves as a guide to orient ourselves even through the thickest fog. The ships would break against the shores many times if the lighthouse did not give them the sense of direction they need.

But what if there were a blackout at the lighthouse? Ships trying to find their way through the darkness. Screams in the midst of despair - we have collided with something, we are going to shipwreck! What would you do in that moment when your life depends only on a miracle? Who would you wish to have by your side? What happened to the lighthouse that took you to safe harbor?

Babies Dedication and Sermon July 29, 2007 : Can the light be seen in you?
In this sermon, the speaker emphasizes the importance of consecrating infants for the exclusive service of the Lord and recognizing the privilege of being born into families that know God. Believers are called to be a light in the world and share the truth of Christ with others, even if it clashes with the values of the world. We should not be afraid to stand firm in the truth of the Gospel and live a life that reflects the fruit of the Holy Spirit and the character of Jesus.
