Why me?

RESUMEN: Sometimes we ask ourselves why difficult things happen to us, but it is normal to try to find a way out of the problem. God allows trials in our lives because he loves us and has a perfect plan for us. We must remember that as children of God, we are taught through difficult situations and that all things work together for our good. We should be grateful for everything and trust that God is always in control.

There are times in life when we go through very difficult trials that lead us to ask ourselves these questions. Why me? Why are these things happening to me? When the moment of despair comes we always try to find a "why", and this, although it seems strange, is something normal, and I say normal because in our desperation we are simply trying to find a way out of the problem.

You know… many of us Christians have gone through the same dilemma, we have asked ourselves the same questions: Why am I a daughter of God and follow his principles? I will tell you something that may seem a little strange to you. God does allow adverse situations to come into our lives; And do you know why? Because he loves us and has a perfect plan for you and me. God does not see us as what we are, but as what we can become. He wants to form in us the creature that he has predestined.

Sometimes we are so unaware of God and so far away that he has to allow difficult trials to turn our gaze to him. We think many times, erroneously, that because we are Christians, all things have to turn out as we wish.

Some say, just one sentence and problem solved is enough, the test goes away and everything returns to normal. So when it doesn't happen like that, they feel bad and even their faith begins to waver: Could it be that God doesn't hear my prayers? Could it be that I'm wrong in front of him? Let me tell you that I don't think it's either one or the other. We as children of God have to be taught by him, and often through difficult situations. What we must always keep in mind is what he tells us in Romans 8:28 “… To those who love God, ALL things work together for the good”, although at the moment it may not seem like it.

Prayer: Father, teach us to be grateful for everything and to understand that you are always in control. In Jesus your son. Amen.
