What do you have your faith in?

SUMMARY: Faith is the belief or trust in something. We often put our faith in things like doctors, sculptures, and objects, but these are not the true God. We should not worship images or objects, but instead focus on the eternal and true God who created us. We need to choose life and define where we have deposited our faith, so that we can trust God to keep our deposit for that day.

When we say that we have faith, we are referring to that we believe or trust something in particular. Faith has many edges and does not always follow the correct path that leads to eternity. How many times when we go to a doctor for any ailment have we said: - "I have faith in Dr. X".

Our faith can be deposited in as many things, as our needs are, even in inanimate things like stones or metals. The architect makes a sculpture, gives it any name and we prostrate ourselves before it, we are so foolish that we give life in our fantastic imagination to objects made by human hands, ignoring that we cannot touch the eternal and true God.
