Psalms 119:41 • Luke 4:36
From ancient longing, a whisper rose to meet the dawn For steadfast love, a promise woven, on which our souls are drawn Not ink on paper, but the Spirit’s breath, a living flame That calls the cosmos into being, speaking out Your Name. Our fragile hope, an anchor finding rest in truth You gave Your sacred oath, an endless guarantee, You always save.
Oh, the living Word, it echoes through the ages A force that breathes Your love on every page, across all stages With power and authority, You command the night to flee May Your loving devotion, Lord, Your salvation come to me! Your Word, it saves, it heals, it sets us free.
Then in Capernaum, the living Word stepped into time's embrace Beheld by witnesses, a wonder in that holy place No mere suggestion, but a voice that ordered chaos calm The unclean spirits scattered, fleeing from His potent arm He redefined reality, with power we'd never known The ancient hope made present, on an everlasting throne.
This Logos now, a Rhema for our troubled heart and soul A double cure, from sin and darkness, making us whole Our mighty weapon, our defense in every battle fought Not by our striving, but by grace, redemption dearly bought In joyful yieldedness, we find our liberty, our peace As Your authority in us, makes every bondage cease.
Oh, the living Word, it echoes through the ages A force that breathes Your love on every page, across all stages With power and authority, You command the night to flee May Your loving devotion, Lord, Your salvation come to me! Your Word, it saves, it heals, it sets us free.
You always speak, Your Word always saves, Your Power continually restores, from death to grace. Yes, Your Word always saves, And Your Power continually restores, all things to their rightful place. Hallelujah! Your Word always saves.
