Exodus 15:18 • Luke 1:33
Every morning, hearts confess, "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done." But the headlines scream distress, beneath a cold and distant sun. We watch the chaos, plot unseen, a painful, dark, unfolding scene, And wonder, Lord, what does it mean, this suffering, this space between?
Oh, but the Word declares it true, a grand design, breaking through! The Lord shall reign for ever and ever! Of His kingdom there shall be no end, no, never! Though shadows fall, and futures bend, we know the story's glorious end! He reigns forever, King of all, we stand and trust, beyond the wall!
He's not a ruler, far away, watching from a golden throne. He stepped into His own grand play, making every sorrow His own. The Director chose the lowest part, a broken body, bleeding heart, To tear the darkness all apart, a new exodus, a brand new start.
When the scene is painful, hard to bear, we question, Lord, do You even care? But because He hung upon the tree, His love transformed the mystery. The cross became redemption's sign, the suffering proof of love divine. The plot twists now, but we'll be fine, His victory will shine!
The curtain rises, hear the sound, A global cheer on holy ground! (Trumpets blast, choir swells, powerful percussion) No silence then, but thund'rous praise! For the King who suffered, conquered, reigns through all His days! Forever and ever, His kingdom will stand! He reigns! Forever! Across every land!
