(Audio: English, Spanish) ->Alternate

SUMMARY: In this sermon, the pastor discusses the prophecies in Isaiah 9 and the fulfillment of those prophecies in Luke 2. He highlights five qualities of God revealed in these passages: a glorious God, a God of peace, a God of joy, a personal God, and a God of universal accessibility. The pastor emphasizes that God's glory shines through in the birth of Jesus, causing wonder and amazement. He also notes that God is a God of peace, bringing an end to wars and violence, and that Jesus is the prince of peace. The pastor encourages listeners to focus on Jesus during times of crisis and to trust that God will bring peace and joy even in the midst of storms.

The speaker talks about the joy and abundance that comes with celebrating Christmas and the birth of Jesus. They emphasize that Jesus came for all nations and all people, and that joy is a decision that we can make. The speaker encourages the church to be a place for all nations and to fulfill the universal mission of the Gospel. They remind listeners that Jesus is a personal savior who understands human struggles and invites listeners to receive him in their hearts.

We are gonna turn to the Word of God now, we are going to look at a couple different texts from the Scriptures, first of all we are going to look at Isaiah chapter 9 verse 1 to 7, and then we will take a look at the Gospel of Luke chapter 2: “Nevertheless there will be no more gloom for those who are in distress, in the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Napthali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan”

2: “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.”
